Eczema

Eczema is often a result of poor gut health. The treatment must focus on improving gut health by consuming a diet rich in fibre, vegan foods, prebiotics and probiotics, and that is free of milk, milk products and animal proteins. This will support healthy bacteria in the gut lining. At times, eczema can also be associated with asthma, so treatment will have to be focused on improving respiratory functions as well.

PCOS-Induced Hair Loss

In Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), hair loss occurs due to the hormonal changes in the body. When the PCOS conditions are reversed, the hair fall automatically should also stop as it’s a symptom associated with the condition. PCOS conditions are usually due to higher insulin resistance due to the adipose tissue inflammation; it results in the imbalance of reproductive hormones. Omega 3 supplementation, zing and magnesium supplements, low-calorie and low-grain diet, including good fats in your diet, etc. can help prevent hair fall. However, any auto-immune involvement will have to be checked and ruled out as well.

Continuous Sneezing

If you have not done a test to find out Eosinophils, histamine levels, and IgE, do the same to approach your condition at the root level. Avoid allergy-causing foods like bananas, gluten, tomatoes, high-protein diet especially fish, dairy and split dals. We can find out the allergy if we do a test for environmental and food allergens. Probiotics and prebiotics help as well. Gut health is very important. Ginger, pepper, garlic, tulsi, giloy, etc. are wonderful herbs. You can also try:

  • A glass of water with 1 tsp apple cider vinegar twice a day before meals
  • Steaming before bedtime with ginger, turmeric and salt
  • Jalneti yoga kriyas regularly for a week and then three times a week. You can do this after putting a drop of pure ghee in each nostril.
