There’s nothing comparable to the rush of endorphins you experience after a good workout session, amirite? Managing to get off the couch and squeezing in a quick gym session is an accomplishment on its own. However, the only downside to an intense cardio sesh (besides the sore muscles) is having to deal with sweaty hair. It’s all fun and games till undo your ponytail and your hair is a hot greasy mess. You can fix it by washing your hair, but doing this on an everyday basis is not feasible. So if you’re looking for a quick fix, then you’re in the right place! Here’s how you can get fresh hair after a sweaty gym session in just a few minutes:
1. Dry Your Hair
First things first, begin by dealing with the moisture in your hair. No matter what hairstyle you attempt, it won’t look good unless you get rid of the sweat first. So start by spritzing some water or a hydrosol like rose water into your hair to refresh it and then after a few minutes dry it with a towel. After your hair is approximately 70% dry, take your hairdryer and dry your hair completely.
2. Dry Shampoo + Brush Your Hair
Dry hair is still a tad bit better than sweaty post-gym hair but it still isn’t free from grease. So to make the roots of your hair appear less greasy, use a dry shampoo. Take any dry shampoo of your choice and spritz it on the roots of your hair. Massage the product into your scalp and then brush it out. Your hair will feel non-greasy and soft to the touch instantly.
3. Hair Serum
After drying your hair and getting rid of the grease, it’s time to now get rid of the frizz. Take a few drops of hair serum into the palms of your hands and apply it to the ends your hair. This will help tame your mane and make it look sleek and smooth. Just make sure you don’t use too much product at once. A few drops will do the trick.
…And ta-da! You’re done. With these 3 steps, you’ll be able to instantly refresh your hair without washing it.
