But that was not all, in the post, they announced her name to be Saraayah Malhotra. They expressed that their little girl is a blessing they had been waiting for, calling her the newest light of their lives.

If we go by their Instagram post, Saraayah is gathered from the Hebrew words Sarah and Saraya. The name in its most commonly known form is said to mean God’s princess.
However, the name’s significance does there. Due to linguistic crossroads, the name also has some Arabic origin. In different cultures the name is spelled in different ways such as Saraya, Sarayah, or Saraaya but the meaning remains the same, princess, noble lady, palace, or noble dwelling.
