A social media report by Filmfare has confirmed that veteran actor Dharmendra has passed away at the age of 89. The Sholay actor was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital after his health deteriorated over the past month. An official statement is yet to be released by the Deol family. Moreover, an ambulance was seen exiting his house this morning, raising more speculations.

Dharmendra was not keeping well for a long time and had been put on a ventilator. Sunny Deol, Esha Deol, and his wife Hema Malini, were often seen visiting the hospital. Although over the past few weeks, numerous reports were circulated online of his passing away, the Deol family had to step in and publicly call out these practices and ask to put a stop to it.
