It’s been over two weeks since Alia Bhatt last shared any updates on social media, leaving fans curious about her whereabouts. But her sister, author Shaheen Bhatt, has filled in the gap. Alia is currently vacationing with Shaheen, Shaheen’s boyfriend Ishaan Mehra, and their mother, Soni Razdan.

On August 21, Shaheen shared a photo dump on Instagram that featured Alia as well.
Family Time and Relaxed Vibes
In one of the pictures, Alia can be seen posing with Shaheen, Ishaan, and Soni Razdan, all smiling warmly for the camera, seemingly before or after dinner. Another video in the carousel shows Alia working out during the trip. Captioning the post, Shaheen wrote, “Island Interlude.”

Fans quickly flooded the comments section with love. One user wrote, “Everything about this post is just BEAUTIFUL.” Their half-sister Pooja Bhatt and actors including Arjun Kapoor, Ananya Panday, and Janhvi Kapoor also liked the post.
Alia Often Features in Shaheen’s Posts
This isn’t the first time Shaheen has shared family moments featuring Alia. Earlier this year, she dropped a New Year’s photo dump showcasing celebrations with Alia, Ranbir Kapoor, their daughter Raha, and Neetu Kapoor, among others.
Alia Joins NCB’s Anti-Drug Campaign
Apart from her holiday pictures, Alia recently made headlines for joining the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in its anti-drug campaign. In a viral video, she urged people to take an e-pledge against drug abuse, saying, “Namaskar saathiyo, main hun Alia Bhatt. Today I want to talk to you about the very serious issue of drug addiction and how it’s becoming a threat to our life, society, and nation… Say yes to life and no to drugs.”

Professionally, Alia was last seen in Jigra. Despite pre-release buzz, the film underperformed at the box office. Directed by Vasan Bala, it also marked the big-screen debut of The Archies actor Vedang Raina.
Alia has since moved on to shooting for her upcoming project Alpha, touted as YRF’s first female-led spy film. The movie also stars Sharvari alongside Bobby Deol, who plays the antagonist.
