After a 12-year absence from the ramp, Bollywood Khiladi No. 1 Akshay Kumar made a spectacular comeback at India Couture Week 2025 in Delhi. Stealing all the attention was the star when he strutted for the popular designer duo, Falguni and Shane Peacock, and concluded the show as their showstopper in an imperious style.

Clad in an ivory bandhgala and sporting black sunglasses, Akshay embodied the essence of an Indian Prince Charming. He made a grand entrance, mesmerizing the audience with his assured and charming stride, showcasing his fitness and a style worthy of the screen.
The designer epitomized Indian nobility at its best, heavily influenced by the opulence of maharajas and maharanis. Rich fabrics, minute work, and royal silhouettes, retracing India’s glorious history in regal style in couture today. The dress glittered with heritage, class, and trends all together and made quite a visually striking appearance on the ramp.
Following his yatra, Akshay indulged in a lighthearted and humorous Q&A session with the media. “Well, thank you very much. Main Hindi mein bolunga. Aap sabhi logo ka bohot bohot dhanyawad, jitne bhi yahan log aaye, aur media,” he smiled and said. Glancing at his wristwatch, he added in jest, “Kaafi late nahi ho gaya hai?”
The sight left the media in amusement, with individuals teasing about Akshay’s notoriously tough schedule and early dinner and television routine. When one of them laughed, “Dilli mein chalta hai sir,” Akshay did not raise an eyebrow either. With a wicked smile, he replied, “Dilli mein chalta hai? Haal tabhi dekh tera,” leaving others in the group to laugh some more. Looking back to his ramp return, Akshay added, “Truthfully, after so long, I’m doing this walk, ramp walk. Mujhe yaad hai, aaj se kareeban 12 saal pehle, maine phir ek bar ramp walk kiya tha; maine inhi ke saath kiya tha. And it’s been an honor doing that.”

With his unique wit, effortless ease, and a hint of nostalgia, Akshay Kumar reminded everyone why he is still one of Bollywood’s cherished and longest-surviving icons, on screen, on stage, and even on fashion walks.
