Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have officially tied the knot after dating for seven years and keeping their relationship a secret despite ongoing speculations! The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony surrounded by close family and friends, followed by a fancy star studded reception on the same day. Despite the outpouring of love and well-wishes, the wedding has also received negative comments on social media. In response to these remarks, Shatrughan Sinha has finally spoken out to defend his daughter and her special day.
In an interview with Times Now, Shatrughan Sinha has finally reacted to the negative comments and trolls surrounding his daughter Sonakshi Sinha‘s wedding, standing up for her with a strong response. He referred to the critics as “unemployed people” who should “get a life.” Drawing from Anand Bakshi’s lyrics, he said, “Kuch toh log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna,” and added, “Kehne waale agar bekar, bekaam-kaaj ke ho to kehna hi kaam ban jata hai” (For unemployed people, this is all the work they have). Sinha emphasized that his daughter has done nothing illegal or unconstitutional, and that a wedding is a deeply personal decision between two people, with no one having the right to interfere or comment. He urged the critics to find something useful to do with their lives, concluding with, “I have nothing else to say.”
It’s sad that Sonakshi and Zaheer had to shut off the comments on social media to avoid negativity. I wish nothing but positive energy and happiness for them in their new journey together!
