Ali Fazal spoke about the significant challenges he faced while bringing the complex character of Guddu Pandit to life. He reflected…

The format of the show has become an integral part of my life and performances. Through the seasons, viewers track the journey of Guddu, who despite the corruption around him, maintains a certain innocence. This character, shaped by his society and circumstances, transforms dramatically over time. It has demanded a lot from me, but I cherish the experience. This world and this character are far removed from my own reality, but I have tried to understand and portray him analytically—considering how he thinks, interacts, and survives in his environment. The core traumas he has faced manifest as the madness and intensity you see on screen. My goal has been to portray this with compassion and authenticity, helping the audience connect with his struggles. The challenge was to step back and observe without judgment, and I hope my performance resonates with viewers.

‘Mirzapur 3’ promises another gripping season filled with power, revenge, and the dark underbelly of crime. I am eagerly anticipating Ali Fazal’s electrifying performance once again. With the release date approaching, Fazal’s insights into his role and the challenges he faced in portraying Guddu Pandit add depth to the character, making audiences love and appreciate him even more.
