The Prabhas,Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone-starrer ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has been generating plenty of hype, with comparisons drawn to Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya’s ‘Dune.’ However, Nag Ashwin addressed concerns at the VFX Summit in Hyderabad and cleared all the speculations and theories.
Nag Ashwin recently attended a VFX Summit in Hyderabad where he engaged in a light-hearted exchange with a student about comparisons between his upcoming film, ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ and ‘Dune’. Responding humorously to the student’s observation about similarities in theme and artwork, Nag clarified it is due to the presence of sand, sparking amusement among attendees and igniting further interest in the film. Subsequently, when a new poster of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ featuring Deepika Padukone was released, fans couldn’t help but draw comparisons to Zendaya‘s appearance in Dune, generating a whirlwind of excitement and speculation across social media platforms. Despite the initial comparisons, the release of the poster only served to intensify anticipation for the film as fans eagerly await its unveiling.
Fans express their anticipation as they eagerly await further glimpses into the sci-fi world crafted by Nag Ashwin, featuring a stellar cast led by Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. I can’t wait for the film to release on 27th June, 2024.
