Kriti Sanon, the effervescent and talented star of Bollywood, has been making waves with her recent film releases, captivating audiences with her charm and versatility on screen. From the heartfelt drama of “Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya” alongside Shahid Kapoor to the delightful ensemble cast of “Crew” featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu, Kriti has been winning hearts left and right. But amidst the whirlwind of success and accolades, there’s one co-star who holds a special place in Kriti’s heart—none other than the versatile powerhouse, Pankaj Tripathi. In an exclusive chat with Pinkvilla, Kriti revealed her favorite co-star, and the answer might surprise you!
“Honestly, I’ve been blessed to work with some fun co-stars,” Kriti confessed, “whether it’s friends like Varun Dhawan or Kartik Aaryan. But obviously, I have to say the one I’ve worked with the most times is Pankaj Tripathi.” With a twinkle in her eye, Kriti went on to sing praises for Pankaj Tripathi, highlighting their remarkable on-screen chemistry and the diverse array of roles they’ve tackled together. “We’ve done four or three films together,” she exclaimed, “and each one has been a unique experience.” From the endearing father-daughter bond in “Bareilly Ki Barfi” to the comedic camaraderie in “Luka Chuppi” and the poignant connection in “Mimi,” Kriti and Pankaj have effortlessly brought their characters to life, leaving audiences mesmerized by their performances. In ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi,’ he played her father, and I think it’s the most adorable father-daughter relationship we’ve seen on screen “In ‘Luka Chuppi,’ it was more of a comedic relationship, and in ‘Mimi,’ of course, playing Bhanu and Mimi had a very unique bond.”
