Vidya Balan’s latest film, ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’, which also stars Pratik Gandhi, Ileana D’Cruz, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, released yesterday, April 19, and has been getting a good response from the audiences. The film explores the theme of relationships, and recently, Vidya Balan, who has been married to Siddharth Roy Kapur for over a decade, shared the key to a happy married life. Here’s what Vidya Balan had to say…
In conversation with India Today, Vidya Balan spoke about the key to a happy marital life. “To realize that marriage is between two people and should remain between two people at all times, whatever it takes to achieve that, communication, and sharing, is very crucial,” Vidya Balan revealed. She also spoke about how there’s no place for a third person in a married relationship between two people. “It’s so deliciously layered, intricate, intimate, and personal that no third person can know what one feels for the other. There is a beautiful line in the film that says, ‘Just show up every day.’ That’s the relationship,” Vidya Balan added.
I feel Vidya Balan shared some truly insightful advice that we can all reflect on in our relationships. It’s really important for two people in a relationship to show up every day and care for each other, and as Vidya says, there’s no place for a third person in a relationship that’s all about the bond of love between two individuals.
