Shah Rukh Khan fans are going to love this new development surrounding his upcoming film ‘King’. As per the latest media reports, the much-anticipated film directed by Sujoy Ghosh is going to star Shah Rukh Khan as the lead. SRK was speculated to feature in a cameo role in ‘King’ but now it seems like the superstar is going to have a full-fledged role alongside his daughter Suhana Khan, who is going to play the parallel lead in the action thriller.
As published on PeepingMoon.com, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in a lead role with Suhana Khan in ‘King’, and he is speculated to be playing her mentor in the action-thriller. “The SRK-Suhana film has undergone multiple rewrites and polishing in the past few months. The project was earlier intended to be a mega theatrical debut vehicle for Suhana, with SRK merely playing a cameo, much like he did in Alia Bhatt’s ‘Dear Zindagi’. But the script has now been altered, turning it into a proper Shah Rukh Khan film, with Suhana playing a parallel lead alongside him,” a source revealed to the portal.
The action-packed thriller produced by Red Chillies Entertainment is soon to go on floors with ‘Pathaan’ director Siddharth Anand as co-producer. I’m excited to watch Shah Rukh Khan in this much-awaited film. After ‘Jawan’, ‘Pathaan’, and ‘Dunki’, my expectations from SRK have increased even more.
