Nayanthara, who made her Bollywood debut with ‘Jawan’, recently opened up about her experience working with Shah Rukh Khan. Here’s what Nayanthara had to say…
In conversation with Hello magazine, Nayanthara revealed what it was like to work with SRK on her first Hindi film. “Who is not his fan? We have all grown up watching his films and we all love them. Apart from being the huge star that he is, I really admire the fact that he respects women a lot… I was pretty sure that ‘Jawan’ would create a huge impact. After working so many years in the industry you know when a film is going to work and vice versa,” Nayanthara shared.

Nayanthara, who is a huge star in the South Indian film industry, made a powerful entry in Bollywood with her action-packed role in ‘Jawan’. Speaking about it, she added, “I was looking for a film like ‘Jawan’ which is a commercial venture with a huge star. At the same time, I was also keen on a meaty role where I get to kick some ass.”
Nayanthara is currently filming Dude Vicky’s ‘Mannangatti: Since 1960’, which also features Yogi Babu, Devadarisini Sukumaran, and Gouri Kishan. The actress will also be seen in S. Sashikanth’s sports drama ‘The Test’, which also stars R. Madhavan and Trisha Krishnan.
