The hastakshar ceremony of the couple on the last day of the festivities had the most memorable and heartwarming moment being the lovely bride-to-be Radhika Merchant’s grand entry. She rocked a beautiful Tarun Tahiliani custom-made lehenga saree, and now the designer has opened up about the intricate details of the dreamy ensemble…
The designer revealed that her outfit is a poetic ode to Indian heritage, as the pre-draped lehenga saree unfolds a tapestry of hand-painted miniature artistry, intricately woven with the delicate finesse of kashidakari craftsmanship in opulent shades of silver and rose gold. The elegant blouse was adorned with exquisite jaali and resham work, and she paired the look with a hand-painted dupatta and a rose gold tissue veil.
“Aligning with the theme of the valley of the gods, her attire resembles a sartorial temple complex, adorned with intricately embroidered domes and structures in the delicate hues of peaches, corals, and sunset colours. The ensemble is elevated by a specially woven tissue veil, delicately scattered with flowers, embodying Radhika’s renowned understated elegance.” the designer added.
Radhika Merchant’s looked so graceful during her entry that it made everyone emotional. She mesmerizingly won the hearts of the guests with her soulful walk and her elegant aura. Her lehenga saree was so enchanting, and it truly complemented her sophisticated style.
