Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon are all set to star together in ‘Teri Baaton Meon Aisa Uljha Jiya’, and I’m eagerly waiting to see this fresh pairing onscreen. The duo is currently promoting their upcoming science fiction romantic film in full swing. In a recent interview, Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor opened up about the vibe on the sets of ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ when they were shooting for the dance numbers. In conversation with Pinkvilla, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon were asked about the vibe while shooting for the dance numbers of Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, to which Shahid Kapoor responded with “competitive.” Kriti on the other hand said, “I was very nervous. I’ll be very honest.” Shahid Kapoor further added, “It was competitive. Kriti was like ‘ye karke dikha tu’. You know her thumka is the best. You are very good with it,” while praising Kriti for her dancing skills.
Kriti Sanon explained why she was nervous, saying, “I was very nervous for the first time dancing with anyone. I have seen how good a dancer he is. And I’ve been following his work since ‘Ishq Vishk’ and I think you killed it every time you danced. Whether it’s ‘Gandi Baat’ or ‘Saree Ke Fall Sa’- which is my favorite. And I knew he is better than the background dancers when he is dancing. And I’m like ‘Oh my God, he is really sharp with every step.’ And he catches it fast. If you change (steps), he catches it really fast. So I was quite nervous to match steps with Shahid Kapoor. But I had fun.”
Written and directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya‘ has pretty catchy songs like ‘Laal Peeli Akhiyaan’ and ‘Akhiyaan Gulaab’. Backed by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, the film marks Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s first on-screen collaboration and is all set to release on February 9, 2024.
