As published in Pinkvilla, Sunny Deol has been confirmed to play the role of the mighty Hanuman in ‘Ramayana’. “Sunny Deol is all charged up to have gotten once in a lifetime opportunity to play Lord Hanuman. It’s a casting made in heaven, as Lord Hanuman stands for Strength, and who better than Sunny Deol in the present times to play the part with utmost conviction,” Pinkvilla reported as per a source close to the development of the project. “While ‘Ramayana: Part One’ features Sunny Deol in a guest appearance, the second and third part of the epic trilogy will have his complete presence. The makers are confident that after Dara Singh, it’s Sunny Deol who would be synonymous with Lord Hanuman in modern times,” Pinkvilla’s source added.
The excitement of the audience has reached a fever pitch with the news of Ranbir Kapoor playing Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravan. While the official confirmation about the cast and filming of the much-awaited movie is yet to be made by the makers, I’m eagerly waiting to see all these talented actors come together for such a larger-than-life project.
