The excitement of the fans of the actors reached fever pitch with the news of Ranbir Kapoor playing Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravan. It has now been speculated that actor Vijay Sethupathi is being roped in to play the role of Vibhishana. Here’s what we know so far…
As published in Pinkvilla, director Nitesh Tiwari is in talks with Vijay Sethupathi to play the role of Ravana’s brother, Vibhishana. “Nitesh Tiwari recently met Vijay Sethupathi and took him through the script and the world that he is looking to create with Ramayana for the spectacle. Vijay was blown away by the narration and the visuals and has shown his interest in the film,” Pinkvilla reported as per a source close to the development of the project.
The film is expected to go on floors in March 2024, and the first part of the trilogy will be wrapped by July 2024. While the official confirmation about the cast and filming of the much-awaited movie is yet to be made by the makers, I’m truly excited to see all these talented actors come together for such a larger-than-life project.
