Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Sam Bahadur’ recently crossed the ₹100 crore mark in worldwide box office collection. The film engrossed ₹100 crore at the box office globally in 17 days of its release. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is based on the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. “Sam Bahadur marches on with pride & victory at the box office, and we are grateful!,” Vicky Kaushal wrote while sharing the deets of the film’s global box office collection.
The total collections of ‘Sam Bahadur’ now stand at ₹78.25 crore at the Indian Box Office and over ₹105 crore globally. As per Sacnilk, the Vicky Kaushal starrer film collected around 1.65 crore on its 18th day of release. The film collected Rs 25 crore in 3 days. ‘Sam Bahadur’ also stars Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the lead roles. The film showcases the life of ‘Sam Manekshaw’ who was the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971. He was also the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of field marshal.
‘Sam Bahadur’ had a clash at the box office with Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal‘. Despite a tough competition, ‘Sam Bahadur’ managed to take home a good collection and has been receiving positive reviews from the audience.
