Dhanush recently wrapped up shooting of his second directorial project ‘D50’. The actor had made his directorial debut in 2017 with ‘Pa Paandi’. Dhanush is also going to star in ‘D50’ which is also his 50th film as an actor. He took to his social media handle to share the news of the completion of the project. Here’s what he had to say…
“#D50 #DD2wrapped My sincere thanks to the entire crew and cast. Also a big thanks to Kalanithi Maran sir and Sun Pictures for supporting my vision,” Dhanush wrote while thanking the cast and crew of D50. He also expressed special gratitude to producer Kalanithi Maran and Sun Pictures in his post.
Dhanush will next be seen in Captain Miller. The period action adventure film directed by Arun Matheswaran is scheduled to be released in January 2024. The film also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Priyanka Mohan, Nivedhithaa Sathish, John Kokken and Moor in key roles.
