Suniel Shetty is one of Bollywood’s most popular actors, with a career spanning over 30 years. The Indian actor has appeared in over 100 films and also owns a production house named Popcorn Entertainment Private Limited. He has appeared in some of the most popular Bollywood films, like ‘Dhadkan’, ‘Main Hoon Na’, and ‘Border‘. In a recent interview, he revealed one of the most heartbreaking points of his career. Here’s what Suniel Shetty had to say…
In conversation with ANI, Suneil Shetty revealed how he was taunted by a famous critic after the release of his debut film, ‘Balwan’. “I was written off by one of the top critics who ruled the roost then and said that he can’t make it, he needs to go back to his Udupis, he needs to sell idlis again. It was personal and it hurt, I was angry also,” Suneil Shetty recalled. “But then when I sat back I realized that I have not done any acting classes, you didn’t educate yourself. Because of martial arts, you believed you can make it and you made it,” he added.
Suniel Shetty’s dynamic screen presence and comic timing make him a versatile actor. The role of Shyam portrayed by the actor in ‘Hera Pheri’ and ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ is one of his most loved characters. The actor is all set to appear in ‘Hera Pheri 3‘ alongside Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. I’m truly excited to watch this trio make us laugh once again with the third installment of the iconic film.
