Manish Malhotra’s inspiration often comes from various sources, and this time, it was a beautiful Persian carpet that caught his eye. He described how the intricate patterns, colours, and textures of the carpet resonated with him. And all of this was while the team was shopping for pieces on Bond Street, in London. The lehenga was meticulously crafted, with intricate zari work and sequins, to capture the essence of the carpet’s design.
