After Jawan’s successful run at the box office, Shah Rukh Khan is now gearing up for his next release, which will be very different from his last two releases, where we’ve seen the best of his action-hero side come to life. His next film Dunki with Rajkumar Hirani is one of the most awaited films for quite some time now. It has been in the news ever since the filmmaker dropped the title announcement and gave us a first look at the film. In recent #AskSRK sessions as well we have seen Shahrukh talk a lot more about this film. Take a look at some of the recent tweets where he spills some details about the film.
When asked about how Dunki is shaping up, Shahrukh said “#Dunki is done and very beautiful. A little like life itself!!”. The film has been delayed quite a bit now, and a lot of fans had questions as to what would be its release date and whether the release date itself is confirmed, to which Shahrukh responded in a very cheeky manner saying “#DunkiFixed hi hai. Aur kya karoon Maathe pe gudwa loon!!!!” After seeing SRK in so many action-packed avatars, another fan also inquired whether we would see his action side in Dunki as well, check out the tweet below to see what he had to say.
From all of this what I am getting is that Dunki is going to be a mix of comedy, emotions and a sprinkle of action. The teaser of the film is set to release soon, while the film is set to release on 22nd December 2023 and stars Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani and Vicky Kaushal in important roles.
