It’s time for the International Emmy Awards, and this year is going to be bigger and better! The nominations for the Emmys are out now, and there are 14 categories up for grabs, with over 56 contenders from a number of countries. India is not behind, as some of our Bollywood actors have bagged a nomination this year at the Emmys.
A total number of 3 Indians have been nominated for the International Emmy Awards 2023. We have Jim Sarbh, Shefali Shah and Vir Das making India proud with their nominations. While Jim and Shefali have been nominated under the Best Performance Category, Vir Das’ comedy special Vir Das: Landing has been nominated alongside shows like Derry Girls and Le Flembeau. Shefali Shah’s nomination is for her iconic role in Delhi Crime, while Jim Sarbh’s very celebrated role of Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha in Rocket Boys has been nominated for Best Performance.
It is quite a big feat for these artists and I cannot wait to see the results, as the awards are set to take place on November 20th, in New York City.
