There is no stopping Alia Bhatt in the industry, and her next project right after the monstrous success of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is proof. She also made her Hollywood debut this year alongside Gal Gadot. Alia today put out an announcement video regarding her next film ‘Jigra’, which is set to be directed by Vasan Bala. What makes it even more special is that this project will be produced by not just Dharma Productions, but also by Alia Bhatt‘s production house Eternal Sunshine Productions.
The video starts off with this quite flashing, ‘The paradox of courage is that one must be a little careless of life in order to keep it.’ It then gives us the first look of Alia in an animated way, from the film. You see her looking down with a bag on her shoulder. From the voiceover in the video, we get the idea that Alia is set to play the role of a courageous older sibling, trying to protect her younger sibling from any harm, and even assuring them of that.
Karan Johar also shared this announcement video calling Alia his ‘Jigra’. The film is set to be out on 27th September 2024. Stay tuned for more updates.
