Atlee has been riding the success of his latest film Jawan, which starred the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan. The film has successfully crossed 1000 Crores in collection at the box office worldwide, in a very short period of time. It has also become the fastest to enter the 500 Crore club. It also stars names like Deepika Padukone, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and more. Atlee in an interview with Film Companion revealed that he received offers from Hollywood after they watched his blockbuster film, Jawan.
There were a number of people from Hollywood who worked with him on this film, Spiro and other great directors and technicians were at the screening of Jawan, and they inquired who worked the SRK engulfed in fire scenes and they said it was Atlee’s vision. They were impressed by it so they reached out to him asking if he wanted to work in Hollywood, to let them know. He He also talks about his love for his art, that is filmmaking and how he prefers to work with people who have love to offer, rather than money. He also talks about how there have been times when he has been offered blank cheques to make a film with someone, and he has turned it down basis the fact that money is not what he is working for.
