The sequel to the 2007 acclaimed drama film ‘Life in a…Metro’, the film is directed by Anurag Basu with music by Pritam, who also worked on the first one. It stars names like Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkana Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh. After taking on the character of Shaan in The Night Manager, Aditya Roy Kapur has now moved onto his next project, i.e. Metro… In Dino. The actor in a recent interview revealed why he took up this role in this Anurag Basu film.
In a recent interview with Times Of India, Aditya revealed the reason behind him taking up this film. He said that the main reason he took up this project was director Anurag Basu, who he previously also worked with in Ludo. He added saying how enjoyable and fulfilled it was to work with him, and also described him as a master of his craft. The film is set to release on 29th March and it is also the first time that Aditya Roy Kapur will be starring opposite Sara Ali Khan on screen.
