Nawazuddin Siddiqui is known for the variety of roles and characters he essays in films, and not just that, but how well he is able to get under the skin of the characters. He was recently seen in Tiku Weds Sheru and starred opposite Avneet Kaur. The actor has a number of films lined up for release next, and in one of his recent interviews, he also spoke about how he is now going to be very particular about the scripts that he picks.
1. Haddi
In this film, Nawazuddin plays the role of a trans woman and also starring alongside him we have Anurag Kashyap. The plot revolves around Nawaz going on a hunt against Anurag as revenge for his mother’s death. The film is set to release on 7th September 2023.
2. Section 108
In Section 108, he plays the role of a lawyer, Tahoor Khan, who is brought a case of possible insurance fraud by an insurance agent played by Cassandra. As per Saxena, a billionaire who has been missing will be declared dead soon and his nominee will receive the payout money. The film is produced by Anees Bazmee and is set to release on 2nd February 2024.
3. Saindhav
Saindhav marks Nawazuddin’s debut in Tollywood and looks like he is now wandering to newer playing fields. Nawazuddin plays Vikas Malik in Saindhav. The film is set in Karnataka and deals with black magic and witchcraft. Saindhav touches touching the black magic concept and tries to give a scientific reason in a never-seen manner and has a crime thriller concept.
All of these films sound very exciting to me, and I just cannot get myself to pick one film that I’m most excited for!
