Sobhita Dhulipala and Arjun Mathur’s Made In Heaven Season 2 has been the talk of the town for its gripping stories and the fans just cannot get enough of it. This Zoya Akhtar series was highly awaited, as it was in the making for four years, and has been highly appreciated for its writing. If you are also one of them, who is riding the Made In Heaven fever, just like me, and have been obsessing over dreamy weddings, with some drama then here are some films that you should definitely watch next.

1. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani

This Karan Johar Film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani‘, which stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, is the perfect watch if you’re craving some wedding drama. The film builds up around the plot that Rocky and Rani, who come from two very different backgrounds, want to convince their families to allow this wedding to happen. The film is peak Bollywood, with just the right dash of romance, and if you’re a true Hollywood buff, then you catch it in the cinemas right now!

2. Band Baaja Baraat

Another Ranveer Singh starrer Band Baaja Baaraat that made quite some noise on its release, also starring Anushka Sharma, is also about two wedding planners in Delhi, just like Made In Heaven. The two enthusiastic wedding planners that start small, soon grow into something big that neither of them saw coming. Ranveer with his boyish charm, and Anushka with her cocky determination and the romance between the two make this a perfect watch.

3. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani

This Ayaan Mukherji film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani set a number of goals for the youth, when it was released, and always makes for a great rewatch. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, set in the backdrop of their best friend getting married, is the perfect romcom with some of the most iconic songs of the 2010s. Not so much of planning, but the wedding celebration vibes are real in this one!

4. Hum Aapke Hai Kaun

Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit’s blockbuster hit gives us the perfect peek into the weddings of the 90s. From the outfits to the decor, music to the madness, this film has it all! Nisha and Prem find love at their older brother and sister’s wedding, but things don’t always go as planned. It surely is one of my favourite wedding films to go back to. The songs are unmatched and hit you with a strong nostalgia!

5. Hum Saath Saath Hai

This film has not one, but three weddings! It is an absolute galore to watch the various dynamics between this large joint family. It boasts of a stellar star cast which includes names like Salman Khan, Karishma Kapoor, Tabu, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre and Monish Bahl. The songs will transport you back to the 90s and the three weddings that take place are a reflection of each of their characters. This should definitely be on your watchlist!

So which one are you watching next? I would recommend not missing out on any honestly!
