Daniel Radcliffe who played the role of Harry Potter in multiple films, of this iconic franchise, and based on the books of JK Rowling has finally spoken about the possibility of him being a part of the Harry Potter Reboot. A reboot series was recently announced by the makers and everyone was excited to know whether the original cast will be a part of it. However, Daniel Radcliffe has finally broken his silence on this matter in an interview with Comic Book, and come forward to say that he will not be a part of this series.
The actor in the interview said, “So I’m definitely not seeking it out in any way. But I do wish them, obviously, all the luck in the world, and I’m very excited to have that torch passed. But I don’t think it needs me to physically pass it.” On this note, he also added saying He said, “My understanding is that they’re trying to very much start fresh, and I’m sure whoever is making them will want to make their own mark on it and probably not want to have to figure out how to get old Harry to cameo in this somewhere.” It surely is dishearting to not have him in the series, but the possibility of a reboot itself has gotten me excited.
The bond Harry, Hermoine and Ron shared was truly heartwarming…
The Harry Potter fans are surely not going to be pleased upon hearing this and looks like someone else will have to take this legacy forward. Now who will be the new faces of this series, we will have to wait and find out.
