Akshay Kumar at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, said that he would bring down his fees by 30 to 40 percent as he believes that there is a recession going on and the audience has a limited amount of money to spend on entertainment. According to a News18 report, it has been reported that the actor has taken this step due to the multiple failures at the box office with his recent movies. As for his role in OMG 2, the actor is charging only 35 Crores, while he otherwise used to charge 50-100 Crores for his role. Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam on the other hand are charging 5 Crores and 2-3 Crores, as per a report in News18.
