One of the biggest directors of Bollywood is all set to join hands with the biggest superstar of Bollywood for one of the most anticipated films. Rajkumar Hirani and Shah Rukh Khan are set to join hands for their upcoming film Dunki, which is said to be a comedy. According to a news report in Bollywood Hungama, the director has already sold the OTT rights of the film for a whopping 155 Crores with Jio Cinema. The deal is said to be one of the biggest post-theatrical release deals that we have seen so far and looking at the anticipation for the film, the 155 Crores number seems fitting. The film also leverages the fact that it stars one of Bollywood’s biggest superstars and has been directed by Rajkumar Hirani. It is the biggest amount anyone has ever paid for the OTT rights of a film being released in a single language. Two of the biggest entertainment machines are all set to come together to create a laughter riot with their next film. That is not all, the film is also said to star Vicky Kaushal and Tapsee Pannu taking the film to a whole another level.
The film is a product of Rajkumar Hirani Films and Red Chillies Production, and I am sure it is going to be one fun ride when it is out.
