Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ is one of the most anticipated films. The iconic cast included Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, and Priyanka Chopra, but now Priyanka has reportedly walked off the film for personal reasons. Farhan Akhtar has now approached Anushka Sharma to take up Priyanka Chopra’s role in the film while the other cast members remain the same.
According to a report from Bollywood Hungama, Anushka Sharma has rejected the role and is not interested in stepping into Priyanka Chopra’s shoes, they said, “Anushka was excited about the idea of a female-led journey of self-discovery, but the shooting timelines were not matching with her calendar. She has to balance her personal life with her profession and allotting the number of days that Farhan asked for was not possible. There are a lot of combination dates with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt, but it was not in line with her schedule.” This news has disappointed a lot of the audience as Anushka Sharma’s return to the big screen was much awaited and she never disappoints. It would be great to see her in this upcoming film but now I wonder who would take her place? It has got me even more curious about this film.

Farhan Akhtar has put this film on hold for his other upcoming films ‘Don 3‘ and others and will continue shooting this film once his casting issues are resolved.
