Bigg Boss never fails to entertain us with the new twists and turns everyday. This episode of Bigg Boss OTT had the contestants feeling a mixed bag of emotions. From BB housemates rejecting each other to Abdu leaving the house to even getting teased with another contestant, this episode had it all. There were many fights that were settled and many fights which began keeping the entertainment factor going and adding an interesting twist to this season.
Here are 5 highlights from the 17th episode…
1. Nomination Task
In this task, contestants had to nominate 2 other contestants along with a reason as to why they ‘rejected’ that contestant. Whoever gets more than 2 rejections will be up for potential eviction by the audience. The task started off with Avinash Sachdev rejecting Manisha Rani, calling her a hypocrite, and Cyrus Broacha because he was missing home. Bebika rejected Manisha Rani and Jiya Shankar. Manisha Rani then rejected Jiya Shankar which caused huge drama in the house. Jiya was furious that she was friends with her and Manisha nominated her and not Bebika, who Manisha was fighting with.
2. Abdu Leaves The House
Abdu Rozik stay at the Bigg Boss house came to an end. Before leaving, he could choose from the nominated contestants, who he wanted to click a video with for social media and he chose Avinash, Jiya and Manisha. He clicked videos with them and it was extremely sweet and fun until Manisha got hyper and was jumping on him and he ended the video and called her ‘crazy’. He hugged them goodbye and told Jad to behave good.
3. Abhishek And Bebika Have A Friendly Banter
Post the nomination task, Abhishek goes and tries to pull Bebika’s leg and instead of getting angry she plays along and they have a good laugh. Later in the day, they have another banter which everyone thinks is a fight but it was just friendly ‘shouting’. Looks like this might be the start of a reignited friendship between the two contestants.
4. Jad Hadid Teases Falaq Naazz And Avinash Sachdev
Jad Hadid notices Falaq and Avinash hugging after Falaq made ‘sheera’ for everyone which made Jad think that there maybe something brewing between the two. Jiya also agrees to this and this makes Avinash confused as he never thought of it and didn’t want things to be put in his head.
5. Manisha Gets Emotional
For most of the episode, Manisha is extremely emotional and at the end, Pooja Bhatt and she shed some tears. Manisha explains how she is not fake and she didn’t nominate Bebika because she deserves to be in the game. This makes Pooja feel bad for her and hugs her.
This episode was extremely heartfelt as Abdu, who brought a smile to the contestants faces and made the vibe of the house fun, left the Bigg Boss house. Every contestant absolutely loved having him around and they were upset when he left. It would be interesting to see how today’s episode pans out without Abdu and what other drama unfolds.
