Recently Shah Rukh Khan completed 31 years in the film industry. It was in 1992 when his first movie, Deewana, was released. To honor this significant milestone, the actor chose to engage with his fans through a ‘Ask SRK’ session on Twitter on Sunday. During the session, a fan couldn’t resist asking Shah Rukh about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent trip to the United States.
Wish I was there to dance to it….but they wouldn’t allow a train inside I guess??!!! https://t.co/jjsUexZXCH

During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inaugural state visit to the White House, the South Asian a cappella group Penn Masala performed a medley of Indian songs, including the iconic “Chaiyya Chaiyya” from the film Dil Se, which starred Shah Rukh Khan. During an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Twitter, one of Shah Rukh Khan’s fans mentioned this performance and asked the actor about it. The fan said, “Sir, ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ chants welcomed Modi Ji in the US …What do you want to say about this?” In response, the superstar humorously remarked, “Wish I was there to dance to it…but they wouldn’t allow a train inside, I guess?” The actor also spoke about his upcoming film Jawan and answered many other Tweets. The interaction was funny and light-hearted as well as serious in many ways. It was really great seeing SRK doing such incredible interactions with his fans.
I loved reading all the responses and was fully invested in his replies. I am looking hoping for many more such interactions with the audience and looking forward to engaging in them.
