Om Raut’s film, Adipurush has been riding the success and the buzz around the film even prior to its release. The film also saw a high number of pre-bookings a week prior to its release. Ever since its release, the film has faced some backlash for its dialogues and characters but has also managed to rake in a whopping 300+ crores worldwide in just 3 days. The film which is based on the mythological epic, Ramayana, had fans waiting for its release ever since its announcement. The fans really came through at the box office and had cinema halls sold out.
On its opening day, the film garnered 136.84 Cores, making it a hattrick of Prabhas’ films to have a 100 Crore opener. As for the second and third day, the film stayed quite stable with a collection of 81.21 Crores and 85.36 Crores respectively. This took the Box Office collection of the film to 303.41 Crores worldwide. It honestly looks like an impressive opening weekend for the film, and the craze doesn’t seem to die down despite the trolling that was seen on the internet.
