Bawaal, starring Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan is scheduled to release in October this year. This movie is directed by Nitesh Tiwari. This movie has been much awaited since Varun and Janhvi are a new pairing and this movie claims to be an ambitious one and not like regular releases.
As per reports from Bollywood Hungama posted that through a source they have come to know Bawaal has sold their digital rights to Amazon Prime Video and will release on Prime videos in October and will not be released in theatres. The director along with the rest of the team feels that as the movie is promising and ambitious the ‘bawaal’ would be better fitted on an OTT platform and they also believe it would do better there and gain a wider audience in the comfort of their home. The director has discussed all these details with the team and only then has made a decision about only OTT streaming. Janhvi and Varun in the past have shared BTS from the sets of the film, and it looks nothing but fun, however many details regarding the movie remain unknown.
