The prestigious 76th Cannes Film Festival has always seen Bollywood celebrities walking the red carpet, putting their best foot forward. The festival which takes places by the French Riviera every year showcases a variety of acclaimed films and we see a multitude of stars descending the red carpet. This year is no different as several others make their debut at this celebrated film festival. From Sara Ali Khan, Manushi Chhillar to Esha Gupta, here are all the Bollywood ladies who have walked the red carpet so far.
Sara Ali Khan bought desi glam to the Cannes red carpet in an ivory Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla Couture, and took full pride in the Indian-ness of her look. The ‘Indian Bride’ look did not cut it for me, as it overpowered her presence on the carpet. Manushi and Esha on the other hand opted for white gowns for their red carpet look. Manushi’s plunging corset neckline and tulle trail surely caught attention of many, as she kept her hair and makeup minimal. Esha stunned us all in his white satin gown with a busy plunging neckline embellished with flowers.
I cannot wait to see what the rest of the Bollywood beauties have in store for us this year at the Cannes Film Festival. I’ve got my eyes set on Cannes favourite, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who was seen leaving for the French Riviera with her daughter.
