I was super thrilled as I entered the theater to watch Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania, well this one marks the beginning of phase 5 of the Marvel Comic Multiverse. I could feel the vibe and the excitement everyone around me had to see what this new Marvel movie directed by Peyton Reed had to offer. I was also excited to see what Paul Rudd (Ant-Man/Scott Lang), Jonathan Majors (Kang: The Conqueror), Kathryn Newton (Cassie Lang), Evangeline Lilly (Hope Van Dyne / The Wasp), Michelle Pfeiffer (Janet Van Dyne), and Michael Douglas (Hank Pym) had in store with this one. And it began…
But before I tell you all that ran through my mind while watching the film, watch the trailer here:
Here are 40 thoughts I had while watching Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania…
- Woah! Scott Lang is such a charmer
- What a creation for the Quantum verse Cassie
- What are you hiding Janet?
- OMG! What are the ants and the family being pulled into?
- That’s quite a universe underneath the earth, I love this quantum realm…
- OKAY! Quantum verse has its beings and rule, fascinating…
- Wait what? Janet has a connection to this place.
- Why is this conqueror behind Janet and her family? What is happening? Oh, Janet is the OG wasp who was stuck in the quantum realm for 30 years…
- Good job Janet for keeping Kang The Conqueror trapped in there…
- You are just so cool Ant-Man!
- Uh-Oh! Modok please don’t capture Cassie and Scott…
- Don’t listen to Kang Scott, he isn’t the kind to keep a promise
- Wow…what I am seeing right now is surreal, Scott has jumped into a deeper dimension to gain that engine for Kang, and there is so much happening now…
- Hope Van Dyne, you are just adorable, go get Scott!
- Coming face-to-face with Kang is not a good idea Janet…
- I knew this was going to happen, you guys just made Kang so powerful, why???
- Love you, Hank, your ants are rockstars and in the quantum realm, they are even more amazing…
- Oops, Cassie and Janet are taken by Kang, nooo…
- That’s an impressive empire Kang has built.
- Good job at rescuing Jentorra, Cassie…
- Fight, fight, fight! Cassie and Jentorra, girl power rocks!
- That’s the war I was waiting for, watch out Kang!
- Noooo! Please don’t lose to him Quantum beings…
- Now that’s what I call larger than life, Scott…
- Don’t leave Kang, you guys, just finish his rule.
- Take over the Quantum realm Jentorra and team, pleaseee…
- OhK, Janet has a way to get back to earth and now that Kang is dealt with, get back to the tower you guys…
- Phew! Janet, Hank, Hope, and Cassie are back, but wait where is Scott?
- Oh no! Kang is back, didn’t Scott just finish him?
- That is one epic fight, I just hope Scott gets back in time.
- Don’t worry Cassie and Hope, he will jump in soon…
- Thank God, Hope, you came in again, Ant-Man needed his Wasp
- Yes, finish Kang…
- Hmmm, finally they are back and safe, Kang is gone, Scott is happy, and all is good!
- Wait! What now Scott? Did Kang just say a bigger danger is coming as his last words? So did you not save the planet technically?
- Never mind, you are Avenger, you can deal with it, now enjoy this family moment…
- Okay, who are these people? Wait what, there is a stadium full of a population like Kang, oh no!
- Why are they cheering? What is happening? Is he returning?
- Well, of course, Kang will be back…
- But this time the fight won’t just be low-key!
By now I am all amused by everything that I have seen, especially the big surprise at the end. While I walk out I am wondering how cool it would be if we could also travel across different universes, having said that, this film is something. And you should watch it on the big screen in 3D.
