This is one historic achievement as Tarsem Singh, an acclaimed Hollywood director shoots his first film in India. The film is set to be produced by Bhushan Kumar from T-Series, Vipul D Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl from Wakaoo Films, Sanjay Grover from Creative Strokes Group, and Tarsem Singh. The film is titled Dear Jassi and it has been scripted by Amit Rai, writer, and director of Oh My God 2. Some of his most notable movies in Hollywood include Immortals with Henry Cavill and Frieda Pinto, Mirror Mirror with Julia Roberts, and Self/Less with Ryan Reynolds and Ben Kingsley.
The subject of Dear Jassi has always been close to Tarsem, he added
It’s my passion project, And I believe this is the right time for the world to see it. Such a strong story needs to be told. I had a great set of producers partnering with me on this film.

Dear Jassi was shot across Punjab over a span of 50 days and the last schedule of 2 weeks will be shot in Canada very soon. With the film based on a true story, I cannot wait to see what Tarsem has in store for his Indian audience.
