The Bigg Boss 16 contestants from Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia to Shalin Bhanot got some reality checks and a slamming which was worth a watch and this was made possible as the producer Sandiip Sikcand and News Anchor Dibang stepped on stage with Salman Khan for the “Weekend Ka Vaar”. If you missed the episode, read Bigg Boss 16 Day 105 Live Written Updates here. The beautiful presence of Simi Garewal who finally interviewed Salman Khan was interesting to watch. I got a huge shock along with the contestants when Abdu Rozik left the house tonight.
As the family arrived to visit this week, the episode opens with talking about conversations that took place in the house. Bhai doesn’t fail to mention that Sumbul Toqueer had apologised to the contestants for being embarrassed by her father and bade papa’s counsel. Sumbul argues once more that although she frequently overreacts and her family is unable to comprehend, the masti between her and her friends continues to occur in the home. Bhai goes on to point out that she could have provided her family with the same justification. Sumbul gets the confidence to stand up for herself whenever she feels bad for Salman. I hope Sumbul gets the courage and showcases the strong personality that she is.
Coming to Nimrit‘s father’s advice, he had told her to look outside the mandali. She then becomes upset with her father for having expectations of her rather than listening to him. Bhai continues to explain to her the importance of listening to her father and the inappropriateness of expecting praise from him. Salman shows a mirror to Nimrit that it wasn’t being portrayed well and it looked like she was not ready to listen and that’s what instigated Nimrit’s father to repeat again. Salman was right to a point as even I didn’t Nimrit to expect her behaviour to be this way but, she had her own reasons. Nimrit’s other complaint was that she was in the lost category during the nomination task; Salman asks Nimrit’s hardcore enemy, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, to justify this. Priyanka clarifies that Nimrit’s personality is concealed behind Sajid and Shiv. After Bhai takes a break, Sajid goes to oppose Priyanka.
The episode gets very much juicy when Sandiip and Dibang join in the stage with Salman Khan. They were super blunt on the contestant’s faces and made sure their questions were sharp and to the point. Sandiip requests to meet the genuine Shalin rather than Tina’s Shalin. He observes that each time “Weekend Ka Vaar” is near Tina and Shalin stops speaking, Shalin explains that he realised he is being played. Tina uses the opportunity to tell Sandiip that Shalin was the one who liked her first. Sandiip mentions Tina and Shalin have chemistry, but but then Tina always leads Shalin goes on to cover it up by claiming that they are just friends. Sandiip declares the relationship, and both of them as extremely deceptive. Sandiip brings up the concert on New Year’s Eve in a very stern manner, even labelling Tina as image-conscious. When Dibang enters the conversation, he makes the observation that, if Tina is not truthful, she is won’t be a good actor or good person Tina, however, justifies her actions by claiming that she was confused. Dibang likes to compare Tina and Shalin’s union to a plastic flower, or something false.
Dibang appreciates that MC Stan is in the house because it has given the rappers a fresh look. He inquires as to which contestant is his friend solely for the sake of fame. He implements the name Archana Gautam. To Archana’s face, Dibang blatantly declares that her tongue is out of control and that the most important trait of a politician is the ability to listen to criticism but, she isn’t able to do it.
A task which reveals who is a zero in the house. The contestants are asked to perform a zero task with the contestants where each one of them has to tell who in the house is zero without which contestants. The majority contestants believe that Tina is nothing without Shalin and Soundarya Sharma is overshadowed by Archana Gautam.
A shock strucks the contestants as the very dear contestant of the house Abdu Rozik is about to leave the house due to his prior commitments which cannot be compromised. Shiv Thakare seems to be the saddest and bursts into tears. I am surely going to miss the sunshine of the house and the bromance between Shiv and Abdu.
Even though Simi Garewal has interviewed so many celebrities, she’s never got a change to interview Salman bhai and she finally does reveal and unknown side of him. This “Weekend Ka Vaar” was power packed. All the suprises were bomb this week but, what the next weeks hold we only get to know tomorrow. Stay tuned for more updates and gossip.
