I won’t call this week the ‘The Family Week Special’ but, giving it another name it should be the ‘The Happiness Week’. I have never seen the Bigg Boss 16 contestants this happy in the last few months. The family members of each contestant would be allowed to stay one day in the house, after Shiv Thakare‘s mother, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary‘s brother and Sajid Khan‘s sister Farah Khan. It’s time for the next set of V.V.I.P to enter the house and it’s MC Stan‘s mother whose hug was much needed by him, Archana Gautam ‘s brother who is just as entertaining as her and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia‘s father whose insightful words are about to motivate her. 10:57 pm: The captaincy task begins
Priyanka, Shiv, Sajid, Archana, Soundarya, Abdu, Tina and Shalin are the non-nominated ones for the week and are in the run for the captaincy race. The four nominated contestants will go to the shed and will be throwing grains as the safe contestants who have become the chicken will be catching the chicken. In the first round, MC Stan, Nimrit and Archana will become the sanchalak.
Archana’s brother is participating instead of Archana. Nimrit declares that the winner of the first round is Shiv. Because he won the first round Shiv gets the advantage of removing two contestants and he goes to remove Tina and Soundarya stating the reason that they’ve already become the contestants.
The episode ends at the first round which will be continued tomorrow.
10:53 pm: Nimrit’s father uplifts and advises her
Nimrit expresses that she feels bad when Bigg Boss put her in the lost category and not an active category. But, Nimrit’s dad uplifts her by saying that he must have done it for a reason and has tried to give her a hint. He advises her to play individually.
Archana’s brother showcases his dance moves in front of Shalin and Shiv. All three start dancing together. Even Abdu joins in. Bigg Boss goes on to joke with Archana that her limelight is stolen by her brother. Sajid goes on to comment that in front of her brother, she looks the more mature one.
10:47 pm: Nimrit’s father enters the house
Nimrit’s father comes into the house and meets everyone with warm hugs and blessings. He even jokingly tells Archana to continue her duties and keep the house clean. He also goes on to say that the mandali is the unique selling point of the season. Meanwhile, MC Stan’s mother tells that when he fights with anyone including Archana and they both look bad if they fight. Archana’s brother tells her that being real is what the viewers like outside and that’s her real self.
10:43 pm: The contestants seem baffled
The other contestants are baffled to see that Archana’s brother is just as energetic as she is.
10:34 pm: Archana’s brother enters the house
As Bigg Boss announces that Archana’s brother Gulshan is coming into the house, she already starts crying while her brother enters dancing with impeccable high energy. She’s still frozen and cries about her mother not coming into the house. He picks up Abdu and addresses him as Turtur picking him up. As soon as Archana releases she runs behind her brother because he didn’t allow her mother to come. But, her brother seems to be love irritating his sister. She argues with her brother and asks him to take her promise and say that he didn’t interfere when it came to bringing his mom into the house.
10:26 pm: MC Stan’s mother comes into the house
MC Stan’s mother gets super emotional after seeing her son. He conveys that her fans are rooting for him to win and asks him to stay strong as it’s a matter of a few weeks. Seeing his mother even MC Stan breaks into tears. Archana and Shalin go on to apologize to MC Stan’s mother for her fight with Stan. She advises very lovingly to fight but not bring family into it. MC Stan asks his mother how is his girlfriend bubba doing and his mother teases him.
10:25 pm: The discussion post the family members leave
Priyanka discusses with Tina that her brother discloses that the mandali was questioning Abdu over hanging out with Priyanka.
10:18 pm: Shiv’s mother and Priyanka’s brother talk about the happenings in the house
Shiv’s mother tells Shalin that he fights purposely so that he could get slammings from Salman Khan. On the other hand, Priyanka’s brother asks Sumbul why is she so quiet in the house. Shiv’s mother schools him for not keeping his clothes properly, she also says that he only targets Shalin and explains to him that he is an actor he will act. She advises him to not say anything to Shalin and makes him the captain once.
Bigg Boss announces that Priyanka’s brother Yogesh and Shiv Thakare’s mother Asha ji have to leave the house. Shiv’s mother gets emotional as she is leaving the house, she invites Sajid to her house and asks Archana to not argue during the food. Even Yogest bids a sweet farewell to the house and the other contestants.
10:12 pm: Coffee issue in the house
The coffee is not kept in the common ration and now that coffee drinkers have increased it needs to be kept in the common. This causes an issue between Tina Datta and Priyanka as Tina goes and complains about the issue to Priyanka which causes an issue between Priyanka and Soundarya. Priyanka goes on to tell Soundarya that if the coffee has to be shared she will even the vegan will be shared with all the contestants.
10:07 pm: Shiv’s mother showers love at Abdu
Shiv’s mother hugs and kisses Abdu and invites him to come to their home town, Amravati. Abdu also jokes about going to the Bigg Boss UK version with Shiv.
Meanwhile, MC Stan and Sajid joke about Sumbul Toqueer‘s father coming in and hitting Shalin Bhanot.
10:01 pm: Farah Khan’s birthday celebration
On the occasion of Farah’s birthday, Bigg Boss sends in a cake for the celebration and everyone sings the happy birthday song for her. After this, Bigg Boss asks everyone to freeze and announces that Farah has to leave the house. As one by one, the contestants release she wishes everyone the best with lots of love.
9:51 pm: Sajid interviews his sister Farah
Sajid reveals that Farah had hit him with a frying pan on his head and she hilariously replies that she only hit him on the head because he said not to hit him on his face. It’s Farah’s birthday and she goes to joke about how every year she comes to the Bigg Boss 16 house and gets paid but, this time because he is in the house she’s to come for free. Disclosing Farah’s secret he reveals that she broke the bike of the person who hit Sajid when they were teenagers. Farah also points out that Sajid cares for Abdu Rozik like a father.
9:46 pm: Sajid summoned into the confession room
Bigg Boss asks Sajid how he feels to meet his sister after a long time, he thanks Bigg Boss for sending her into the house. He gives Sajid an opportunity to interview Farah Khan and bring another amazing side of her to the audience. Simultaneously, Shiv’s mother says that she had never eaten anyone’s cooked food in 40 years but she lovingly ate Archana’s made paratha and sabzi.
