Even though 2023 has just begun, I am thrilled for 2024 because Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan are all set to treat us to a breathtaking aerial action film called Fighter. But what is exciting is that Akshay Oberoi will also be joining Deepika and Hrithik in playing an airforce officer. The actor recently shared a picture of himself with director Siddharth Anand and co-star Karan Singh Grover on Instagram announcing his association with the film.

Talking about the film and his role, Akshay says…
It’s an honour to be playing the part of someone who has served the nation. My character is a tribute to all those real life heroes who have fought for their country. As actors, we might imitate their actions, but the grit and courage that they would have shown in real life situations are unfathomable. All thanks to the director Siddharth and Mamta Anand for picking me for the part.
Fighter also stars Anil Kapoor, will have Deepika and Hrithik as Indian airforce pilots, the film is said to be shot across the world and will pay tribute to the sacrifice of the country’s armed forces. The film is said to be released on 25th January 2024. I am super thrilled to see Akshay also in a uniform-clad look soon.
