2022 and its amazingness has been reminisced enough, and now it is time to look forward to 2023. And what if I tell you that for Bollywood the new year is going to be filled with lots of talent and glamour? Yes, a lot of debutants will be entering the industry in 2023, but until that moment arrives, we have to wait with bated breath to welcome Suhana Khan, Shanaya Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, and many more foraying into films.
Here are 10 promising newcomers we will welcome in the new year:
1. Agastya Nanda
Amitabh Bachchan‘s grandson and Shweta Nanda‘s son Agastya Nanda is all set to make his way to Bollywood with Zoya Akhtar‘s Netflix film Archies. Not just this, Agastya will also be seen with Dharmendra in the film Ikkis. I must say this is one debut to look forward to.
2. Suhana Khan
A lot of us fans have been waiting to see Shah Rukh Khan‘s children walk through the gates of Bollywood, and 2023 is the year for that to happen. Yes, Suhana Khan, SRK’s daughter will be seen in Archies which releases on Netflix next year.
3. Khushi Kapoor
Not only Agastya and Suhana, but even Janhvi Kapoor‘s sister and late Sridevi‘s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor will make her acting debut with Archies. The squad has been having lots of fun and I cannot wait to see them on screen soon.
4. Lakshya Lalwani
Another big debut I am looking forward to is of actor Lakshya Lalwani. Even though we have seen him in the show Porus years ago, on the 70mm Laksh will leave all of us charmed with Bedhadak first, followed by Dostana 2.
5. Shanaya Kapoor
Joining Lakshya in adding the oomph to Bedhadak, Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor will also be seen on the big screen with this film. The first look from the project is out and I am super thrilled to know more about it.
6. Gurfateh Pirzada
While we have seen Gurfateh in a music video earlier, he even had a small role in Brahmastra, but his big launch in Bollywood will only be with Bedhadak. Yes, completing the very good-looking trio, Gurfateh will be seen in the film with Lakshya and Sanaya.
7. Aryan Khan
Though not an acting debut, Aryan Khan has written a web-show that will go on floors soon. So yes, he is also making his debut in the industry but behind the camera.
8. Palak Tiwari
Popular actress Shweta Tiwari‘s daughter Palak Tiwari became a sensation with her music video and now finally she will make her acting debut with The Virgin Tree. Other than this Palak has also shot for a horror web-show whose release is awaited. She will also be seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
9. Pashmina Roshan
Actor Hrithik Roshan‘s niece Pashmina Roshan will be seen playing the leading lady opposite Rohit Saraf in Ishq Vishk Rebound. Pashmina has been a stage actor and now as she enters in Bollywood my hopes are high.
10. Yashvardhan Ahuja
The tall and handsome Yashvardhan Ahuja is Govinda‘s son who is reportedly going to make his debut this year. Yes, after assisting on films like Kick 2, Tadap, and Dishoom, Yashvardhan has been busy working on his physique and skills to foray into the movies. While he is waiting for the right launch, a few media reports state that it might happen this year.
I like how every year the Bollywood family on gets bigger and better, and now with more talent joining the industry, there is so much more in store for all of us.
