This episode of Bigg Boss 16 has got in a twist. Sreejita De and MC Stan‘s captaincy comes to while the nomination and ration tasks have been intertwined in each other raising the heat and drama in the house. On the occasion of Christmas, Bigg Boss decided to send the happiness to the house by sending Maahim – an awesome doggy. But, this doesn’t stop the house from starting chaos. Archana Gautam gets into a fight with Sreejita and accuses her of being biased in her captain duties. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary falls in between and it turns nasty.
As soon as the day begins a series of fights are about to break down in the house. Contestants aren’t strangers to heated arguments about house duties. It appears that Archana hasn’t even cleaned the captain’s room, as Stan accuses her of doing so. She holds him responsible for seeking a reason to nominate her today. It’s a ping-pong game of accusations happening between them too. Stan moves on to claim she dances alongside Abdu Rozik every morning so that the camera can focus on her because he is famous. Sreejita tries to speak in between, but Archana silences her thinking that only she is pointed out for not working. At the same time, Archana squeezes Priyanka into the fight, instructing her to wash the apron and not be a ‘free-fund’.
The contestants have been away from home for a long time, so Bigg Boss is about to surprise them not just today but also for the rest of the week, which has induced enthusiasm in the house. The first surprise begins by sending in a new contestant, a cute St. Bernard dog named Maahim entering the house. The contestants are happy to see their new furry friend. Sajid Khan, who asserts that he does not like dogs, is one person who is not happy with the situation. In contrast, Sreejita is in tears as she misses her own pets. Archana is absolutely thrilled about his first pee in the Bigg Boss 16 garden.
Maahim has become my new favourite in the house. Sajid had a feeling he’d steal Abdu’s thunder. There has been some coldness between Sajid and Abdu, which appears to have brought these words to light. Sajid remarks that Abdu’s cuteness value is about to decline, but Abdu denies this. Sajid and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia believe Abdu has infused a new attitude. This even goes on later on in the show when MC Stan tries to explain to Abdu how Sajid feels, but Abdu doesn’t feel that he did anything wrong. Sajid is adamant that Abdu hasn’t bothered to hang out with him, despite Abdu’s attempt to convince him otherwise. Abdu tries to explain to Sajid by saying he came to talk to him but he has been sulking around. Sajid apologises to Abdu while he does the same.
Because of the twist, which is the combination of the nomination special and the ration task, new enemies are formed in the house. The house has been converted into a market. I feel Bigg Boss played smart this time as there was no groupism because he didn’t disclose that it was nomination until the entered the activity room to collect ration. Not only that but after they collected the ration, they were asked not to mention the nominations outside.
Vikkas Manaktala is already upset about not being able to enter the market early. Later, the situation escalates into a fight with Sumbul Toqueer. Vikkas desires that the rations in the house be kept in one location and then decided. Sumbul, on the other hand, believes she wants to go next, but Vikkas does not. Due to the fact that both Sumbul and Vikkas want to join her in the next round, Sreejita is caught in the middle of them. The long-lasting banter irritates Bigg Boss, who decides to call off this round. But, Sumbul and Vikkas still wouldn’t stop shouting at the top of their lungs.
Post this huge fight another one follows between the ladies who I thought were friends – Archana and Sreejita. The contestants begin to engage in a discussion about who they nominated. Archana argues with Sreejita her pointing out that the bathroom was filthy. Sreejita claims Archana has a dark heart. Priyanka comes into the picture when she warns Sreejita not to be friends with Archana. This grew to the point where Archana went to her ears and yelled, “Tera Dulha Toh Gaya,” and bringing Ankit Gupta’s name between knowing that Priyanka is sensitive about the subject escalated the drama quotient. This irritates Priyanka to the point where she has to push Archana’s face away from her ears, and she warns her that if she does it again, she will slap Archana.
Today was a packed episode with so much happening simultaneously that my words are less to define the number of crazy fights in the house. This week almost half of the house is nominated and it’s about to get more fun with more twists bringing out the personalities of the contestants.
