In this season of Bigg Boss 16, it is clearly known that nothing can be hidden as the Boss is himself involved. Trying to shed light on Gautam Vig ‘s game, the house is turned into a courtroom. The contestants have challenged his equation with Soundarya Sharma and Shalin Bhanot and it has been finally revealed what it is all about. The television industry’s favourite couple, Ankit Gupta and Priyanka Choudhary managed to quite scare me because of the huge nasty fights between them. One thing which left me a little stunned was Ankit telling Priyanka during their fight that he could reveal certain things about her on camera and Priyanka’s reaction to it was breaking down in tears. Now, I wonder if this will ever come up again. After calling each other a bunch of names, Ankit finally managed to convince Priyanka to let go of their issues and they made up. This genuinely made me happy.
I am putting it out straight there that Bigg Boss is righteous and fair as he fires Gautam out of his captaincy with proper reasoning and gives the housemates their ration back. Bigg Boss thinks that Gautam has been partial when it comes to Soundarya speaking English in the house which is against the rules. Also, Karma.
The best part of the episode was the courtroom session which turned into a heated ground really soon. The love birds were put to prove their relationship on national television. The people who express their opinion the least are made the judges i.e. Ankit and Gouri Nagori. Gautam’s new friend MC Stan is his defender and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia is the prosecutor. It is the prosecution and defence’s responsibility to convince the judges and support their claims which will lead the judges to a final verdict. The first accusation put on Gautam was whether his relationship with Soundarya is real or just for the camera. A lot of interesting statements were made but, when Gautam said that Shalin tried to influence him to try on Tina Datta I was shocked! Even Nimrit being Gautam’s closest friend and the prosecutor made some strong statements but, the couple stood strong by each other and the final verdict was made that their love is true.
In the second court session, Priyanka and Tina are appointed as the new judges of the house. MC stan is fired and Soundarya becomes his defender. The second accusation was based on whether Gautam’s friendship with Shalin Bhanot was also according to his convenience for the camera. After calling in a lot of statements the verdict was given that ‘the friendship is fake’ based on Gautam challenging Shalin for a ‘face-off’ before.
Meanwhile, Shiv Thakare and MC Stan get into a clash with each other which was quite unexpected. The way their equation has changed over time is startling to watch. Their issues started when Shiv started hanging out with Nimrit. It’s said that ‘Dushman Ka Dushman Dost Hota Hai’ and that’s what I feel is happening over here.
Today was just a bunch of statements coming out as blunt as possible. This must have opened the contestants’ eyes. In between all this madness, one thing Shalin didn’t forget was to ask for his chicken protein from Bigg Boss which cracked me up.
