Let me explain this episode of Bigg Boss 16 in one word, ‘Surprising’. The ‘Shanivaar Ka Vaar’ was on fire today. Salman Khan openly made some shocking revelations on the show about Gautam Vig and Gouri Nagori. The contestants also seemed amused by this. There were a series of power pack fights which happened after Salman Khan’s points which were an eye-opener to the housemates.
Salman Khan was ready to confront a few contestants on their behaviour in the house. Starting from Sajid Khan, Bhai believes that no one in the house accepts him as a contestant which is agreeable because it’s evident that everyone calls him sir. He also tags Sajid as the ‘Messiah’ of the house. While the majority of the contestants agreed with Salman that he is not serious about the game, Sajid justifies that he would work on himself.
Afterwhich, Salman moves to take Gouri in the picture. After watching the previous episode the thought did cross my mind what is Gouri up to but now I am clear. Thanks to Bhai. He stated that she is clearly ‘The Mastermind’ of the house as she influences MC Stan and terms it as grassroots politics.
Sonakshi Sinha, Huma Qureshi, Zaheer Iqbal and Mahat Raghavendra, the cast of Double XL enter the house with lovely energy. The cast demands that they reenact their most famous Bigg Boss show lines while sporting enormous dentures. Another one was where the contestants become the Janta and speak their opinions about other house members.
After a week of no eviction, the eviction starts. Archana Gautam, Sumbul Toqueer and Soundarya Sharma are called out. Salman Khan plays Soundarya Sharma some clips of Gautam make it clear that Bigg Boss only depicts what actually occurs inside the house and not any made-up events. The public’s raw tweets posted on Twitter are displayed to Archana.
The eviction process begins this week while the voting lines were tight closed, but there’s a catch: each nominee must choose a friend to save them. Sumbul selects Sajid, Soundarya selects Gautam, and Archana selects Priyanka Choudhary. I really enjoyed the twist because it kept me on edge. One of the nominations would be kicked out if they hit the buzzer twice, but if everyone hit it once, the prize money would be reduced by 25 lakhs and no one would be kicked out. It’s incredible that nobody was evicted. Even after the fight, everyone was still on each other’s side, and Priyanka stood by Archana.
Soundarya was the only person in the house who was deeply hurt. Salman showed a video of Shalin Bhanot and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia making fun of her while Gautam just stood there and watched. She questioned him on why he would encourage people to make fun of her and allow them to disrespect her. My heart broke seeing her like this; after all, she had stood by Gautam the entire time, and it was not only an eye-opener for her, but also for me.
Not only did the couple fight but also Priyanka and Shiv Thakare went a little overboard in the fights. Shiv believes that Priyanka was interfering with Sajid’s decision regarding the buzzer, which leads to a heated argument between them. Ankit Gupta gets involved, and Shiv ends up calling him a “popat.”
I’m looking forward to seeing the equation and chemistry between Gautam and Soundarya. Tina Datta and Nimrit both believe that they warned her and that she is either brainwashed by Gautam or that she is playing the game. But Soundarya’s tears didn’t appear to be fueled solely by the game. Now, let’s see what the Bigg Boss 16 house has got stored for us ahead.
