Bigg Boss is one of my favorite reality shows on Television. From the day it started I got hooked to the TV set everyday for an hour. The first day was full of surprises and it answered all the questions about the final names of the contestants. Nimrat Singh Kaur is made the captain of the house and I am looking forward to seeing how she maintains her position. All the contestants are also getting a lot of support from the fans through social media. I have decided to rank the contestants on the basis of their popularity on social media.

1. Soundarya Sharma- 5.2 Million
Actress Soundarya has the maximum number of followers among all the constants. She is truly going to raise the temperature in the BB16 house, but did you know? She is a dentist by qualification and hails from an army home.
2. Abdu Roziq- 3.9 M
Abdu As of today, has a huge number of followers on social media. He has etched his name in record books as the world’s shortest singer. Interestingly, the cutest contestant on the show also made headlines when his upcoming MMA fight went viral.
3. Tina Datta- 2.9 M
Tina stands on the third position in terms of Instagram popularity. We have seen her in Khatron Ke Khiladi, Uttaran, Dayan and many more.
4. MC Stan- 1.9M
On the fourth position, we have MC Stan aka Altaf Shaikh. He is a Pune based rapper, who started singing qawwali at the age of 12. He has released two albums called Insaan and Tadipaar. He has also collaborated with Raftaar for one of his projects.
5. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary- 1.1 M
Priyanka has been quite a frequent name on television. We have seen her on shows like Udaariyaan, Parineeti, Gathbandhan, and many more popular shows.
6. Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia- 1M
Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia who we have seen in Chhoti Sardarni is a lawyer by qualification. She is the first captain of the house and I am looking forward to how she manages the show.
7. Archana Gautam- 752K
Being India’s youngest politician, Archana is totally looking forward to winning many hearts on Bigg Boss 16.
8. Sreejita De- 631K
Popular TV actress Sreejita has been a part of shows like Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Uttaran, Nazar and many more, now she is going to charm everyone in the Bigg Boss house.
9. Ankit Gupta- 574K
Ankit is also quite a popular television actor, we have seen him on shows like Udaariyaan, Sadda Haq, Begusarai, among others. I am sure Ankit will be quite the heartthrob this season.
10. Sumbul Touqeer- 394K
Popularly known for her performance in the TV show Imlie, Sumbul will truly rule the Bigg Boss 16 house.
11. Shalin Bhanot- 375K
Shalin has been quite a popular TV actor. With some popular shows like Naagin, Saath Phere, Suryaputra Karn and lots more, he has been one of the most promising contestants on the show.
12. Shiv Thakare- 299K
Shiv has been the king of reality shows, while we saw him on MTV Roadies Rising, he is also the winner of Bigg Boss Marathi Season 2.
13. Manya Singh- 209K
Manya Singh’s life turned upside down after she was crowned as the runner up at the Femina Miss India 2020. The popular model will now be playing it along with Bigg Boss.
14. Gautam Vig- 205K
Being in the TV industry for many years, Gautam has played some powerful roles in shows like Ishq Subhanallah, Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2. He has a master’s degree in psychology. He has already started to play the game smartly.
15. Gori Nagori- 187K
Gori Nagori is a renowned Haryanvi dancer who has entered Bigg Boss Season 16.
16. Sajid Khan- 11.3K
Last but not least filmmaker Sajid Khan comes at the last with the least followers among the contestants. The director has been missing from the limelight since sometime, but now he is back as a contestant. He has been given the duty of being an official translator to Abdu on the show.
