Koffee With Karan Season 7 has come to an end. I am gonna miss watching the friendly banter between the Bollywood stars and their camaraderie. Yesterday, we saw Tanmay Bhat, Kusha Kapila, Danish Sait and Niharika NM gracing the show as the guests. They were successful in getting things out of Karan Johar and roasting him in a hilarious manner. As this season comes to an end, here’s a look at the top 10 moments of KWK6.
But before that, here’s a look at the latest promo:
The moment that I can remember is from the first episode where Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh came as guests. When Karan asks the actress about a myth related to marriage.
The actress says..
There is no such thing as suhagraat. You are tired
This left Ranveer in splits.
The second moment that comes into my mind is Kiara Advani admitting being more than just close friends with Sidharth Malhotra. It happened in episode 8 when Kiara came along with Shahid Kapoor.
When Karan asks her about marriage, she says…
I have seen beautiful marriages around me, and I see that happen in my life too. But I will not reveal when that is happening.
The third one I feel is the most funny one from the Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor’s episode.
It happens when Karan asks Sara about an actor whom she wants to date. After reluctance, she replies,’ Vijay Deverakonda’. What happened next was a laugh riot. The actresses called Vijay ‘a slice of cheese’.
Going further another hilarious moment came from Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Arjun Kapoor’s episode, when Karan asks her who she thinks is the man of the moment?
Sonam replies…
Ranbir is the best! Because I see him everywhere. He is promoting Ayan’s (Mukerji) film.”
When Karan asks the name of the film, she says, “Shiva No 1”.
While the host can be seen in splits, Arjun hides his face saying, “You are a mess Sonam!”
After that I can remember another highlight from Akshay Kumar and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s episode. She brings up the subject of marriages in his films.
Samantha says….
You have portrayed life as ‘K3G- Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’, whereas in fact, life is ‘KGF,’
Moving on, Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, who were present in episode 5 showcased their funny side on the show.
During the conversation Aamir asks Kareena to rate his fashion sense, to which the actress replies ‘Minus’ in Poo’s signature style from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
During Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon’s episode the funniest part comes when Karan asks Tiger the Bollywood star he feels envious of’?
In a humorous way, the actor replies…
Ranveer Singh, because of his beautiful and talented wife, Deepika Padukone.
Moving further, in the Vicky Kaushal and Sidharth Malhotra episode, the Uri actor opened up about laughing at the memes that were made during his wedding with Katrina Kaif.
He says…
While all these random news were making the rounds, I was just there with the pandit ji saying, jaldi nipta dena please. Ek ghante se jyada nahi… Every day during the wedding, these funny memes, tweets and messages would be shared on the internet and we were aware. We had my friends who read them out for us to have a good laugh. We used to have a blast finding them
There was another moment I remember from the episode when Gauri Khan, Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Pandey appeared on the show. In this one, Gauri opens up about how it is not easy being Shah Rukh Khan’s wife sometimes professionally. She said that there have been times when people don’t want to associate with her professionally because they have certain presumptions about her.
She says…
“When considering a new project, there are some people who consider me as a designer. But there are also times when it does not work out that way because at times, sometimes people do not want to get attached to the baggage of working with Shah Rukh Khan’s wife. It works against me 50% of the time,” she shared.
Last but definitely not the least, episode four featured Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday. The two were asked to play Koffee Bingo and had to circle things that they had done. Vijay marked making out in public and in a car and called it ‘desperate times’.
That episode was also full of candid confessions by the Liger actors.
Well, those were some of the moments that I found exciting on Koffee With Karan Season 7. I am now definitely looking forward to the next season of the show.
