The countdown for Bigg Boss 16 has begun. And while I gear up to see the first-day first show on 1st October, 9:30 pm, there is so much buzz around the new season already on. Just yesterday we learned that Rapper MC Stan is a confirmed contestant on the show, the Tajikistan singer Abdu Rozik is another confirmed contestant announced at the press conference. But at the Bigg Boss 16 press conference, a lot many other things were spoken about too. While Salman Khan revealed how he gets angry when people cross their limits inside the house, Bigg Boss also made some big confessions.
But before we get to that, here’s a little sneak peek into the world of Bigg Boss 16, watch:
Three things that will be different this season:
1. Salman Khan’s Weekend Ka Vaar
Two big changes have been made in the reality show’s format this year, and one of them is the weekend ka vaar episode where Salman pays a visit to the housemates and critics about their journey on the show. While over the many seasons we have seen Salman connect with the contestants every Saturday and Sunday, this year, his episode will air on Friday and Saturday at 9:30 pm. Also, if reports are to be believed, then Salman will be meeting the contestants on a one-on-one basis and not virtually. Well, more clarity will only come in on Bigg Boss 16’s premiere.
2. Bigg Boss Playing the game
Right from the announcement one big change that has been spoken about is how Bigg Boss will play the game with the contestants. And looks like he will be quite the player this time. At the press conference when Salman interacted with Bigg Boss, the latter revealed how he will keep the contestants on their toes. In fact, Bigg Boss has promised to get in twists and turns for every housemate, which will only make them bring their A-game forward.
3. The bedrooms
While the house and its theme has been kept under wraps so far, all I can tell you is that this season the bedroom area is quite an interesting space. Yes, it’s divided into four different rooms called the ‘Fire Room’, ‘Black And White Room’, ‘Cards Room’, and ‘Vintage Room’. Going by speculations it is said that the bigg boss 16 contestants will have to overcome some challenges to win a spot in different bedrooms. How will they do it remains to be seen!
4. Interactive India episode
Another big change this season is an all-new episode that will air every Sunday. In the interactive India episode, the viewers will get the opportunity to engage and connect with housemates every week.
For those who don’t know, the theme of the house is Circus this year and this la la land of dreams will surely witness lots of drama in the months to come. Bigg Boss 16 will air on Colors Tv from October 1 at 9:30 pm. The Monday to Friday episodes will air at 10 pm and there will also be a 24X7 live feed available on Voot. Stay tuned!
