Every week I look forward to Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 with baited breath. The judges, celebrities and the choreographers put their heart and soul into every episode of the show. But today I received sad news that my favorite actor Dheeraj Dhoopar has quit the dance reality show, Yes, you read that right! It hasn’t even been a month since its premiere, but the actor has called it quits citing health reasons.

Dheeraj, who is known for shows like Sasural Simar Ka, Kundali Bhagya has left the show on a good note. Reportedly the actor has sent a video message to the team about the reason.
As per a report in indianexpress, Dheeraj was unable to devote time for his new show on ColorsTV Sherdil Shergill and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. The newly turned father also wanted to spend some time with family and son. Last week while rehearsing for the show the actor also suffered an injury which resulted in low scores. As it will take time to heal, it was not possible for the actor to be on the show. The makers also agreed amicably after listening to Dheeraj’s stand.
A day prior to the show Dheeraj had shared a picture of cake with a note written get well soon on it.
Dheeraj became a household name after playing Prem Bhardwaj in Sasural Simar Ka for many years. Post that show, his popularity rose when he essayed Karan Luthra in Kundali Bhagya. He also won Best Actor (Popular) Award at the Indian Television Academy Awards ceremony in 2021. His fans and followers were stunned when he decided to quit the show which was at the peak of its popularity. That time he mentioned desire to explore new opportunities.
